Scope
This site is a static portfolio. It contains no contact forms, no marketing trackers, no advertising, and no cross-site profiling. The site does not place cookies for marketing or behavioural purposes. One cookieless, aggregate visitor counter is used for basic traffic statistics — details below.
Hosting & Server Logs
The site is hosted by a third-party content delivery network. The provider may log standard access data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — solely for operational security and abuse prevention. This data is processed under the legitimate interest basis (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR) and is not used to profile visitors.
Analytics — counter.dev
This site uses counter.dev to collect aggregate, privacy-preserving visitor statistics. The service is cookieless and does not set any client-side identifiers. On each page view, the script transmits a minimal set of non-identifying data points to the counter.dev service:
- Page URL and HTTP referrer
- Browser user agent and language
- Screen resolution and timezone
- Country and city (derived from the IP address by counter.dev; the IP itself is not stored)
No personal data is stored or linked across visits. There is no cross-site tracking, no advertising profile, and no data sold to third parties. Processing is performed under the legitimate interest basis (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR) for the purpose of understanding aggregate site usage. counter.dev is operated from the European Union; its own privacy policy is available at counter.dev/privacy.html.
You can opt out at any time by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser, by using any standard tracker-blocking extension, or by emailing hello@michaeldamboeck.com to request that aggregated records derived from your visits be deleted to the extent they remain identifiable.
Email Contact
If you contact me by email, your message and email address will be stored in order to respond and to maintain correspondence. Data is not shared with third parties and is retained only as long as necessary for the conversation or required by tax law.
Your Rights
You have the right under the GDPR to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, and data portability regarding personal data I hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@michaeldamboeck.com.
